This listing is for 100+ seeds of Thymus serpyllum or Creeping Thyme. The foliage is very fragrant and is great planted between stepping stones. Thyme can withstand very light foot traffic once established and the fragrance will be released when crushed. The low growing plants are covered with pinkish purple flowers in mid summer. This is a great plant to bring much needed pollinators into the garden.

Thyme is easy to grow in full sun and well drained soil. Like many herbs thyme does resent soggy soils. This is great planted on a slope where the soil is likely to drain well. The fragrant foliage can be used in cooking although the leaves are very small. The deer don't seem to bother this plant either. This is a perennial in zones 5-8.
