Orange Gomphrena is an easy to grow summer annual. The rich, orange color is perfect for informal cut flower arrangements. The plants have an airy quality which makes them a great weaver among perennials and other plants. Globe amaranth will form a low clump of fuzzy green foliage. In early summer the flowers will appear held up on wiry stems. The plants can grow up to 2 feet when in bloom. Gomphrena is great plant for dry areas and is very drought tolerant once established. The deer do not bother this plant in my gardens.

Each kraft paper envelope contains 25 seeds fresh from this year's crop. Gomphrena will grow and bloom best in full sun and well drained soil. Plants will bloom until the first frost. Flowers can be cut and used in fresh or dried floral arrangements.

All seeds come with complete growing instructions. Mountainlily Farm is a licensed plant nursery in the Ozark Mountains. I garden without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Seeds are cleaned by hand and small natural bits of chaff may be present.
