Lemon Drop Pepper Seeds, Aji Limon Peppers, Hot Chile Pepper Seeds
Lemon Drop Pepper also known as Aji Limon Pepper Seeds Organically Grown Peppers.
This listing is for 25 seeds of Lemon Drop Peppers. This heirloom pepper is also known as Aji Limon in it's country of origin of Peru. The small fruits, 2-3", are bright yellow and sometimes blushed with a purple streak. I began growing this pepper in the vegetable garden at our local botanical nursery and have continued each season. The heirloom peppers have a citrusy heat that makes them a great addition to all of my home canning recipes. The Scoville rating on these peppers is between 15,000-30,000 units.
Lemon Drop pepper plants grow approx. 2 ft. and make them an ideal choice for container gardens. The plants do need a long growing season, 100 days from transplant so it is best to start them indoors in late winter. The plants tend to have a rambling habit and I do let them sprawl. I simply lift up the plant and harvest the peppers from beneath.
Peppers will grow and produce best in full sun and well drained soil. All seeds come with complete growing instructions.
