Lauren's Grape Poppy produces papery, purple blooms. Breadbox Poppies, Papaver somniferum, are an annual poppy and are easy to grow from seeds. The papery blooms will add Cottage Garden charm to flower beds and borders. Lauren's Grape Poppy is a purple poppy that comes back true to seed. The seeds have been harvested from the previous season's garden. Each packet contains a minimum of 200 seeds. The seeds are small and tricky to count so there will always be extras included.
Poppies prefer full sun and well drained soil. This is an annual poppy but will reseed nicely around the garden. Seeds will arrive in a simple kraft paper envelope and come with complete growing instructions.
