Mixed Colors Cosmos Seeds, Annual Cosmos bipinnatus Seeds
Mixed Colors Cosmos Seeds, Annual Cosmos bipinnatus Seeds
Easy to grow summer annual Cosmos will add a carefree look to beds and borders. This heirloom mixture contains pinks, white, maroon, and a few bicolor flowers. The tall airy plants are great weavers in the garden and can be sown in between established plantings. The two inch daisy like flowers are great in informal cut flower arrangements. This is a mixture of several varieties I grow here at the farm. I always include Sensation Mix and a few picotee varieties. I grow cosmos in an open, wilder area of my garden and cross pollination can occur.
Annual cosmos can be grown in zones 3-10. Once the plants are established they are extremely drought tolerant. Deer seem to leave these flowers alone. The flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Annual cosmos is also great to bring pollinators of all types into the garden.
Seeds are cleaned by hand and small natural bits of chaff may be present. Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
