English Lavender Plant Lavandula angustifolia Herb Garden Favorite
English Lavender, Lavandula angustifolia is one of the most popular herbs grown in herb gardens today. Lavandula angustifolia is one of the best lavenders for dried flowers. The plants will form a bushy mound approx. 12- 14 inches tall. The plants are covered in beautiful spires of fragrant purple lavender blooms. It is a great plant to bring much needed pollinators to the garden. The bees love it!
Lavender grows best in full sun and VERY well drained soil and is hardy in zones 5-7. This listing is for one English Lavender plant in a 4" nursery pot. Plants have been propagated from the actual plants in these photographs.
