This listing is for 50 chive seeds fresh from this year's harvest. Chives are great for beginner gardeners and children's gardens. Chives are easy to grow from seed and will come back year after year. In early spring tender new green shoots will emerge from the clump. In later April (in my area) the plant is covered in masses of purple flowers.

Chives are great in mixed herb containers and window boxes. This is a great herb for indoor herb gardens. Clumps of chives are a wonderful plant to use in ornamental herb garden designs. Great in the kitchen too! A few sprigs chopped up make a great addition to egg dishes or potato salad.
