Bupleurum rotundifolium 'Green Gold' is an easy to grow cool season annual. Sometimes known as Thorow- wax or hare's ear, the erect plants produce lime green flower bracts. The unusual flowers are borne on wiry stems and are prized for cut flower arrangements. Bupleurum should be sown after danger of frost. Grow in full sun and rich garden soil. The 2 1/ foot plants will continue to produce blooms throughout the growing season. Bupleurum flowers can also be dried and used in dried floral crafts.
