Lemon Bergamot is a welcome addition to herb gardens and butterfly gardens. Monarda citriodora goes by many common names including Lemon Bee Balm and Horse Mint. Lemon Bergamot will bring important pollinators to your garden. Bees love it! This is also a wonderful plant for cut flower arrangements. I grow a large number of plants for the added color in beds and mixed arrangements.

Lemon Bergamot is easy to grow from seeds. It is an annual in my zone 6 garden even though I have read it can be a tender perennial in zone 5-9. The foliage has a fresh citrus aroma when crushed. Native Americans used the leaves for tea. Leaves can be added to fruit salads or used for jellies. When in flower Lemon Bergamot can grow up to 24-30". The purple flower bracts make long lasting cut flowers.

This listing is for 35 seeds. These seeds are tiny and tricky to count so I will always include extras! Seeds are packed in simple kraft paper envelopes and come with complete growing instructions.
