Serrano Peppers are a medium heat pepper. Plants are abundant producers! The Serrano peppers are meaty and fleshy with the Serrano flavor. The peppers are great in Mexican cuisine and are perfect for flavoring. Fruits start out green and mature to bright red. The peppers are about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. The plants grow about 1 1/2 feet tall. I did have to put a small bamboo stake to keep it upright since it was so loaded with peppers! This is also a great pepper for container and small space gardens.
