Purple Garden Phlox is a summer blooming perennial that will add instant color to beds and borders. This upright phlox. Phlox paniculata, will begin blooming in early summer. This variety is one of the longest blooming phlox in the garden. Phlox is a great plant for butterfly gardens. The tall purple flower spike are great in cut flower arrangements. Phlox looks great planted with other summer blooming perennials like Echinacea and Ratibida. 

This variety of Phlox is 'First Lady' and is very mildew resistant. It begins flowering earlier than my other phlox varieties and continues longer. It is a real show stopper! Phlox will grow and flower best in full sun. Phlox paniculata is hardy in zones 3-9. This listing is for one quart grown perennial phlox.
